Have you ever read something over and over and nothing happens, you don’t get it or you have heard so many times that it does not resonate.
Today I heard something, the words were different but it sank in and made a difference to my thoughts and realization of the Truth.
“The condition of your heart determines the flow of your blessing”. If you constantly speak lack, you must expect shortage, and this trains the eyes to see only what is missing. Right! That makes sense.
What about “What your conversation revolves around what you do not have, cannot afford, or will never experience, you create a mental framework that filters out opportunities and possibilities”.
“Because your words have trained you to see only limitations” - how about that one.
This is even better - “Your tongue trains your mind what to notice and what to ignore”. I like that one hey!
When you label your situation as permanent, impossible, hopeless, your reinforce those conditions and make them harder to change. “Your words become the building blocks of reality you are trying to escape.” You may pray for improvement while speaking deterioration, ask for healing while declaring sickness or request provision while announcing poverty. “This contradiction creates spiritual confusion because your words and your prayers are working against each other.” Never heard being said that way.
So now this verse “Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you. Good measure pressed down shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.” For the same measure that you cause, it will be measured back to you. When you make it a practice to speak encouragement hope and favor towards other people, you create positive spiritual momentum that flows back towards your own life.
The principle works because God has established the law of sewing and reaping, ensuring that what you plant with your word eventually returns multiplied.
“The practice of declaring God’s promises over your life programs your mind to expect supernatural intervention. You create an agreement with heaven and earth.” I really like that.
